Introducing Issue II: Saudade

The skipping pulse has calmed; the escape slows as we speak. Dear songbirds, the era of Half Mystic's inaugural issue, allegro, has come to a close. We at HM have held this period to our hearts & rejoiced in the wonder we have created with you; we could not possibly be prouder to hold Issue I: ALLEGRO in our hands. But, like all beautiful things, this too must come to an end. And we are thrilled to present the next chapter in Half Mystic's journey: the theme of Issue II.

Saudade is the scratched-up throat and piercing longing, defined as the feeling of melancholy & nostalgia found in a Portuguese lullaby. As allegro calms, we thought it the truest transition. To restore HM to its soft-sweet roots, to hear the songs that fill your souls with helpless wanting.
